Make a Will Month May 2026

Launching our Make a Will Month campaign this May in aid of the Highland Hospice.

As May 2026 approaches, we are delighted to once again support the Highland Hospice Make a Will Month. Thanks to your generosity last year, we raised over £6,000 to help this incredible charity.

The Highland Hospice supports people, and their families, with life-shortening illnesses in the Highlands to live the best possible life and to provide care and support through to the end of life. The Hospice is an invaluable part of the Highlands, and as an independent local charity, it relies on community fundraising and donations to continue supporting as many people and families as possible through difficult times.

A Will is an essential legal document that every adult should consider, no matter their circumstances. It allows you to decide what happens to your estate after your death, whether leaving money or items to family, friends, or charities. Without a Will, your estate falls into intestacy, which can be a more complicated and costly process for your family. Our blog on myth-busting Wills answers a range of common questions about making a Will.

This May, we will be opening our diary for Will appointments as part of Make a Will Month. All Wills must be drawn up and signed before the end of May to participate, and spaces are limited, so we advise booking early. Please note you will require an initial appointment to meet with a solicitor for them to take instructions, followed by a second appointment to sign your Will.  The minimum donation this year is:

  • £110 for a single Will
  • £160 for a mirror Will

100% of the donations go directly to the Highland Hospice. There is an additional cost of £18 per person for identity checks.

To book your appointment, please call us on 01349 862214. Due to the volume of emails we receive, bookings can only be made by telephone.

Don’t miss this opportunity to prepare your Will while supporting a vital local charity.

If you have already been dealing with someone at the firm and have a query, please e-mail them first of all. E-mail addresses are found on our Team page.
