Make a Will Month 2024
Information on how to make your Will this May to support the Highland Hospice
Supporting local charities is something close to the heart of our business and supporting the Highland Hospice with their Make a Will campaign in May is something we have supported over the years, last year we raised a fantastic amount of £4,679. We are delighted to be supporting the Hospice again this May.
The Highland Hospice provide specialist palliative to improve the quality of life for people throughout the Highlands who have a life-limiting illness. The Highland Hospice requires £8,500 per day to provide its services across the region, which spans 10,000 sq. miles. Services include inpatient care, community care, education and development and end-of-life care services including a 24/7 Palliative Care line.
A Will is an essential legal document that every adult should consider having, no matter their circumstances. A Will is an important part of estate planning that allows you to decide what happens to your estate after your death. You may want to leave money or items to family, friends or charities. If you do not have a Will your estate will fall into intestacy, and this can be a more difficult and expensive process for your family to deal with compared to when a Will is in place.
Make a Will Month will run for the month of May and due to limited space, we advise you to book early. All Wills must be drawn up and signed before the end of May to participate in Make a Will Month. In return for making a Will, we ask that you donate to the Highland Hospice, our suggested donation is £85 per person. We do charge £18 per person to cover the fee of our electronic identity check.
